Skin Deep was originally created for the Global Game Jam event at the Edmonton site in 2024. The theme for that year was "Make Me Laugh". This build is a serious bugfix/overhaul made after the initial upload for public consumption made within 24 hours after the event by Gareth on his own initiative. I was one of the two main artists working on the project, and uploading it here was my idea, done with the permission of the rest of my team. While we are happy to receive comments and criticism on this, we are done with the project, and no further updates or changes will be made.

About
THIS GAME IS RATED 18+ FOR THE FOLLOWING CONTENT: ADULT THEMES, SEXUAL CONTENT, COARSE LANGUAGE AND GRAPHIC IMAGERY. PLEASE PLAY WITH ADULT PERMISSION.
It’s a new day. You’ve been single for quite some time, and you’re looking to put yourself back on the market. You’re looking for love. However, there’s one problem. “It” is out there, looking for you. You grab your trusty shotgun and load it up.
Skin Deep: Shotgun Dating is a deranged, humorous, rogue-lite dating simulator about seeking true love from a town of psychopaths. You can either ask bizarre questions or flirt in a disturbing way, but beware. One of your dates wants you, and not in the arousing way. Well, not arousing for you. If you bed It, It will eat you. Read the dialogue choices carefully and consider who you shoot, as It can change during each playthrough. Featuring nine unique endings, Skin Deep asks you to speak sexually, and carry a big gun.
