SlideShow Desktop by Desktop Designs is a shareware product for Windows. This software gives us the opportunity to view our digital photos as a slideshow at our computer desktop. It features a user-friendly interface with a Browse window from where we can drag any item (file, folder, drive, memory card, USB stick, etc), and drop it onto the List window. We will be able to apply filters so it only searches for images with one or several specified formats. It will display automatically the list for all images matching our preference. Alternatively, we can add images manually. Once the images have been added, we can preview them, and configure the following options: General Options, Default Settings, Image Editors, Search Filters, Slide Sounds, Desktop Patterns, Startup/Shutdown Images, Auto Slide Show, Icons, Buttons, and Captions, Format Slide Names, Resize Image, Slide Advance Options, and File Format Association. SlideShow Desktop 2010 Windows 7 Release (version 3.1) has been updated to work with all version of Windows 7. Building upon previous releases, it delivers increased stability, is faster, more robust and now looks better than ever. Much of the functionality has been performance tuned, and there are a number of minor improvements.
This release also supports multiple monitors.
