SnapFlow provides a feature-rich environment for processing image extracted from videos. With this tool you will be able to compare frames with one another before extracting them and batch apply filters and prepare them for publishing. SnapFlow includes a few management capabilities as well thanks to its project oriented design that can handle information about multiple videos and images within a single file.
The application sets out to impress even when first launched; it has a well-organized and attractive layout that makes it easy to work with. When loading a video file you will be able to quickly play it and view all its containing frames. Users may drag and drop frames on the bottom tray panel and prepare them for further actions like comparison and enhancement. One important feature here is the ability to compare images side by side with synchronous zoom (as you zoom in to one image, the other one zooms in at the same time and position). By switching back to the video player I could locate images in the exact position they were extracted from.
With SnapFlow you can export video frames as JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG and TIFF graphic formats, complete with tags and IPTC data.
Please note that the latest version may only be installed from within the program.
SnapFlow seems to be poor in terms of textual documentation but on its website you may find multiple video tutorials that go through its functions. Even though it's not the flexible and versatile image studio one might expect, the utility certainly does its job well and speeds up tasks that otherwise would require multiple tools to do it.
