SoftChronizer is a program that will scan your drives for duplicate files. It will look for files with the same name, size or content in the folders of your choice. This will be especially useful if you are preparing some kind of compilation, be it music, documents or pictures. You can tell SoftChronizer to look for any type of file, or specifically MP3, PDF or image files.
You can specify in the "Search Options" entry whether you want the program to look into subfolders, or if you allow the program to delete read-only files. You can also specify which files should be marked to be deleted (as, for example, the MP3 file with the lowest bit rate). You can also sort the files displayed by their length, quality, size, name, or any other attribute. You can even preview any given file just by double-clicking on it - the system will open the corresponding default program needed to play or read it.
After searching your drives, it will display a list with details about the duplicate files found. You will then have the opportunity to choose which duplicate you want to remove, if any.
The trial version will be fully functional for thirty days.
