Songwriters Inspiration is a chord generating application for your Mac. With this program, chords are randomly generated to create a progression. You can click on the 'Play Progression' button to hear what the progression sounds like. The Roman Numeral is shown underneath each chord to show you how it relates to the key. The Tonic chord is shown in yellow to draw your attention to it. The Dominant chord is in green and the sub-Dominant in Blue.

Added the ability to export to MusicXML format, which Logic Pro can import from (amongst others.) This will give you a single track, with each chord represented as a whole note (1 measure) triad in the C2 range. Chords will be put into an inversion format, keeping them in the C2 range. The idea being to make them as efficient as possible to play. This should speed up your songwriting considerably.
