A Return to the Classic Sonic Formula

Sonic After The Sequel picks up with Sonic and Tails, having successfully brought down the Death Egg at the end of Sonic 2, landing on an unknown island that has an enormous metal ring around the top of a mountain. Here, our two heroes get embroiled in another plot by the dastardly Dr. Eggman. Can Sonic and Tails prevent the evil doctor from getting his hands on the Chaos Emeralds?
