SoundCleod is an app, similar to more popular SoundCloud, that brings your favorite music to macOS devices. Thanks to SoundCleod, you can now listen to your favorite music and playlists on Mac operating systems, without having to use a web browser.
The app comes wrapped in a modern and fresh GUI, with a beautiful theme - comprised of a mixture of black and orange colors. The menu tabs are properly delimited and very visible, which makes menu navigation an easy job.
When it comes to its features, SoundCleod users can control playback from the Notification Center by simply using the Now Playing widget. They can also opt for Dark mode version, activate Desktop notifications, or turn the app to full screen without seeing the browser buttons.
Furthermore, the application includes keyboard shortcuts and a feature that allows individuals to control the playback by using keyboard's media keys.
Overall, SoundCleod is a simple but very useful app for playing SoundCloud songs and playlists on you macOS, without having to rely on the web browser. It would've been nice to have some text formatting options or multiple skin themes, but these are just minor cons.
