Spirit Walkers: Curse of the Cypress Witch is a hidden object game where four adventurous hikers went on a trip to uncover the mystery lying in a forest. The plot thickens as soon as one of the hikers gets seriously injured and they are forced to travel between realms and overcome an ancient evil.
They will continue their journey to a land where their objective is to save the souls of the innocent and explore ghostly scenes. You will solve various types of puzzles, collect clues, and check various locations.
Even though the scenes aren't drawn in high-detail, the hidden object and other mini-game location looked pretty impressive. In addition, the app provides you with many gameplay instructions and hints which you can use whenever you like.
My only concern regarding this game is the fact that it automatically saves your progress only between challenges. While I was solving a hidden object mini-game I attempted to quit to menu and a message was displayed on the screen saying my progress will be lost once I escape to main menu.
Nonetheless, Spirit Walkers: Curse of the Cypress Witch brings you a fascinating storyline and plenty of challenging puzzle. Hence, I'd say it's worth buying it for your Mac if you're into playing hidden object games on your free time.
