Spirits of Mystery: The Dark Minotaur is a puzzle game that brings you the story of a young princess who investigates the disappearance of the animals from the palace's zoo and the attacks of her guards. With the help of her nanny she embarks in an adventure filled with many challenges.
You can choose the difficulty level of the game after creating a player profile. A good thing is that you can always change this option and opt for another difficulty level, even while exploring a new scene (Menu -> Options).
I really like the artwork of this game, especially the animations for the hidden object scenes. They're very colorful and painted in high detail. In addition, the plot really caught my attention and kept me in front of my Mac for hours.
If you wish to have access to a strategy guide for this game, I'd suggest you try and buy the Spirits of Mystery: The Dark Minotaur Collector's Edition app. By doing so, you gain access to an extra chapter, the concept art of the game, wallpapers, and background music files.
The one aspect I don't like is that you need to restart the game in order to apply any display settings changes (toggle from fullscreen to windowed and vice versa). Other than that, this game offers you a fascinating plot, many challenges, and dozens of locations for exploration.
