Star Rage 1.0 is a 3D Arcade space shooter with classic gameplay.
When you launch the game, you have two buttons. One of them, "Configuration", lets you choose your preferred video mode. The other one, "Start", launches the game.
Then, you start battling with your spaceship against the enemy forces. You control your ship using the mouse, your trigger is the left button. Alternatively, you can use the cursor movement keys to guide the spaceship, and the CTRL key to fire your lasers. Destroy every enemy spaceship with your lasers, and collect every power-up into pyramids to get more ammo or extra life.
You begin with three lives. Each time you´re destroyed, you lose a life. When you lose all three lives, it´s game over.
The ship can carry one type of main weapon and one type of rocket, that can be upgraded collecting bonuses of the same type. When you upgrade, the ammo will be lowered, and you need to begin collecting bonuses again.
You must reach your base to end a level, and go to the next.
