Stimfit is a free, fast, and simple program for viewing and analyzing electrophysiological data. It includes an embedded Python shell for extending the program's capabilities using numerical libraries such as NumPy and SciPy. Additionally, there is a standalone Python module for file input/output that does not require the graphical user interface.
