Currently in the active beta stage, Street Slayers is a free-to-play indie game developed by user kaki. It’s a title that combinesstreetracingand shootergame mechanics, resulting in a multiplayer session wherein you weave through the streets of the map and take out enemy cars.
While the controls are easy to learn and the premise is as non-complex as it gets, the game’s overall execution falls flat in a few areas. For instance, Street Slayers’s graphics look outdated and the map’s “floor” is way too slippery for a player to have the perfect grip on their ride.
There are no other game modes available except for the main one, either, and the lack of variety can get boring eventually. However, the maps provide enough challenge with all the twists and turns. Plus, there are powerups like shields and heals scattered throughout that keep things interesting.
If you happen to be looking for a game that meshes driving aimlessly and shooting enemies in one, then Street Slayers is a good title to check out. It offers exactly that and nothing more, as there are no extra game modes available.
