SUMMERHOUSE is a quaint simulation game that tasks players to build a cozy little neighborhood using a number of lived-in homes, small shops, and other small-scale buildings. Players can assemble and decorate these areas however they wish and let their creativity run wild while discovering surprising secrets.
Essentially, SUMMERHOUSE is a city builder that lets you map out and construct houses, however, on a much smaller scale compared to games like Cities: Skylines. Here, players will only have to deal with small locales in a variety of settings like by the sea, in a city, or in the mountains.
What makes the game so appealing is that rather than constructing your typical modern model homes, you will have to create lived-in structures, giving the area a morehomey feel. With no goals or challenges, though, some players can quickly grow bored of the gameplay.
Despite the lack of additional goals to lead players in a certain direction, SUMMERHOUSE presents a relaxing escapade that allows players to envision a neighborhood they’d want to live in. Its cozy atmosphere and breathtaking sights allow you to immerse yourself in an atmospheric world.
