SuperEgo is a utility that provides you with a quick solution for monitoring your activity while working on your Mac. With its help, you can keep track of how you spend your hours in front of your computer, observe your daily PC habits, and improve your productivity.
The application might come in handy if you need to learn how much time you spend working on certain tasks. You can also use this program to check the amount of time you waste doing anything but your job or daily work assignments.
SuperEgo lives on your Menu Bar from where you start, pause, and resume activity recording and quickly reveal its main window. The main screen of the app shows a list of the applications you used while SuperEgo monitored your activity, along with several details, such as time spent or number of documents used in the selected program.
I would've liked the app more if it featured the ability to monitor which webpages were accessed while SuperEgo recorded my activity. Also, the program lets you export the stored info to only one format - XLS.
Another disadvantage is that the utility isn't completely free. You need to make an in-app purchase to have access to the full version of the utility.
All in all, there are plenty of other Mac applications that help you monitor your Mac activity and provide you with extra features, work great, and are affordable or even free. Hence, it doesn't worth installing SuperEgo on your Mac.
