SwordEdge is a simple and old platform game in which you are a knight who fights enemies with a sword. Every level is full of platforms and paths that you must use until you find the door which takes you to the next level. However, these paths are infested with enemies that move really fast and diminish your life as you touch them. Among the enemies you will find ghosts, skeletons, bats, and other strange creatures. To kill the creatures you only can use your sword which can be moved clockwise or counterclockwise. For some enemies you should use the sword in a certain way to kill them faster, but you will discover this as you progress. Luckily, your heath is replenished when you start a new level.
Unfortunately, the game only includes one mode, which really isn't very enjoyable. The levels look somewhat the same, with only a change in color and the platforms are extremely simple. There are also not so many power-ups or other things to collect, which would definitely make the game more enjoyable. Moreover, the graphics are very poor and look very old, sounds are poor too, and there is no music.
In short, I really wouldn't waste my time with this boring and ugly game when there are so many to choose from out there.
