Syfter 1.0

Syfter is not a media player, but it has one. It is not a Web browser, but it has one of those too. It's not an RSS reader, although it does that too. So, just what the heck is it?

Syfter brings together all these things to make the finding and acquisition of independent media on the Internet simpler. There are so many media formats, so many distribution models and so many different sites filled to bursting with unsigned bands, zero-budget filmmakers, video bloggers and other fascinating people that just sorting through it all can be a daunting task.
