Spicebird is a free and open source collaboration client from Synovel. Spicebird simplifies communication for users by providing integrated access to the various tools of collaboration in a single application. It provides easy access to various web services while users can retain all the advantages of a desktop application.

New in Spicebird 0.8 :
- all messages are now fully indexed making it possible to search for messages by their contents and not just the headers. It is also possible to search across accounts!
- the advanced filtering of search results now make it even easier to find your mails.
- messages can now be opened in new tabs. Please note that Spicebird does not save the tab state when it is closed.
- better integration with Windows search (on Windows Vista and later)
- when multiple mails are selected, Spicebird now shows a summary of those messages
