Syrinx is a Twitter client that is designed to offer several options while tweeting to those who have an account on the Twitter website.

The utility can perform timeline and Twitter search, it allows for bookmarks to be used, for threads to be filtered and for tweet alerts to be paused. If users are interested in finding a specific tweet on their timeline, the search option will support them in the process. Bookmarks can be used so that unread tweets are easily observed, meaning that read tweets will be marked accordingly. Given that tweet alerts can distract a user from their work, a pause can be put in place. In the meantime, updates will be downloaded in the background, but no alert will announce them, hence, they will be checked out when one clicks on the "resume" button. When trying to follow a certain conversation, users can filter out unrelated tweets. Also, they can filter keywords and user names out of their timeline. Although, some nice options are offered by the program, it has the disadvantage of returning errors when trying to upload an image and post a new status. For example, the login action is performed through the website, meaning that the user's Internet browser will open and login data will be input on the website, after which the user will be redirected to the application. Although posting directly from the website will be allowed, the application may not recognize the user name and password after this login procedure, hence, posting from within the utility will not be allowed.

Briefly, Syrinx is a program that serves Twitter users with the intention to offer them a better workflow.
