TakOCR is a simple, free and easy to use droplet GUI for the wonderful OCRopus OCR engine.
TakOCR also includes libraries to enable the OCRing of more graphics formats including mutli-page PDFs!
Run the installer program, then just drop images onto the program. The OCRed output will be displayed in a window which will pop up.
