Task Mate is a free business mobile app that enables you to complete task requests and get paid in exchange. Developed by Google, this project management app is an early access project that performs similarly to Google Opinion Rewards but offers more diverse ways to earn money. Task Mate pretty much operates on the same concept as Google Opinion Rewards but doesn’t just limit itself to surveys and Google Play credits. With this app, you have access to a variety of easy-to-do tasks—such as taking pictures of a business establishment, recording sentences in your language, and answering short questionnaires. These are to help businesses have better advertising and online placement with Google services.

Another main difference here is that you don’t get rewarded by digital credits but actual money instead. Each task offers payment in your local currency when done for a certain number of instances. The rewards aren’t big, however, so don’t expect to use this app as your main source of income. This is more suited to extra earning gigs whenever you have free time. You will also need an account with a third-party payments processor for this.

To be able to use this app, you first need to get a referral code. Since the app is in beta-testing, expect the method of getting a code to be mostly the same—you have to do your research online and get codes as quickly as you can since the slots are limited. Once you’ve registered a valid code, simply choose a task near your location, finish them as accurately as possible, and then cash out your earnings whenever.

All in all, Task Mate has great potential to be an easy source of pocket change for such simple tasks that help local businesses out. This crowdsourced rewards app is only available in certain countries and can only accommodate a select number of users. However, similar to Google Opinion Rewards, it can eventually become popular and optimized for more people.
