Before using the application you need to enter your Mac username and password. Afterwards, the program can start fetching the information you need. Even though it might slow down the performance of your system while scanning your Mac, the offered details will surely prove to be of good use.
An important advantage is that the application also scans every running process to see if it's infected with viruses (uses the VirusTotal service).
