The Dream Voyagers 

The Dream Voyagers is a hidden-object game featuring an engaging storyline that is sure to entertain casual gamers of all ages. As a dream voyager you have a special gift: the power to enter people's dreams and nightmares to ease down whatever is perturbing them. So you are recruited by the Guildmaster, who sends you to the town of Slumberton to discover the cause of the rampant nightmares haunting its inhabitants. There, the game introduces the group of characters that you have to help, each one representing a game level.

The first person is Louisa Pastel, the artist, a girl who is being harassed by some ghosts. Your task will be to solve hidden-object games in order to expel these ghosts from her dreams. Once inside the dreamscene, you need to explore the location to find the items listed at the bottom of the screen. Mostly, the objects to find are related to the story of each person and their fears or childhood traumas, but all set in a quite cheerful atmosphere. Once you solve a dreamscene, you will see 'portals' that you can pick to play the following level, and this is great because it adds a nice touch of randomness to a foreseeable gameplay otherwise. Some dreamscenes are really tricky, as the objects have different levels of transparency and are so well concealed, that it would be just impossible to find them without using the hints. As for the hints, there are three types that help you in different ways and become available as you find objects during the game. The only problem is that when you use them, they take too long to reactivate.

Gladly, the game is good enough to keep you on edge as you move on, since new game modes are unlocked, like the Bonus and Déjà Vu modes, and new game elements come to alter the gameplay in a way. The visuals in particular, are marvellous, and the same can be said about the soundtrack that plays during each scene. In short, The Dream Voyagers is a game that casual gamers shouldn't miss.
