Elven Curse Overview

This game is intended to be a lite adventure game with a twist. Instead of getting a game over screen when defeated, the character is instead captured or taken to another location where they must escape in order to return to the main task. There will even be some diversions that occur without being defeated.

The complexity of the escapes will vary. The shortest event currently lasts about one minute. A more complex event will require multiple tasks in order to make an escape. Typically each event will find the character put into a new costume fitting their situation, or losing it altogether.

So what is the main task of the game? The loose plot is that a curse has been placed on the character turning their life upside down. She sets out to find the source and break the spell. This will require entering into the dungeon and defeating the boss. Along the way she will fall into misfortunes and complications before reaching that goal.

This is the current concept build of the game. It features light exploration and some combat. It is a chance to try out the foundation of what will form the game.

All areas of the game have been rejoined. The goblin caves, forest, and tavern can be accessed.
