The Incident is a fast-paced platform game for the Mac. Recently I have seen lots of those games where the only thing you do is run in one direction dodging obstacles. Whenever you fall, get shot, or let the screen catch up to you, the game is over. The Incident is similar, but instead of moving horizontally, you have to climb to the top of the level.
The first few levels are somewhat easy. Your character will start in the middle of the scene, and things will start falling from the top. If any of the things hits you, you will lose a life. You only have three. You can jump on the objects that fall to climb over them. There are balloons that give you points when you catch them. If you look at the top of the screen, you will notice that a white line appears where an object is going to fall. This makes it easy for you to prevent being hit, but at times, you just can't help it.
There are two game modes. In one, you play a sort of story mode, level after level, and in the other mode, you just play until you lose. Both modes are equally entertaining.
