The gameplay is the same as its predecessor. As it is a point-and-click game, you only need your mouse to play. You can left-click to examine and manipulate your inventory. Meanwhile, clicking and dragging the left mouse lets you look around. You can also double-click on locations to zoom in. To zoom out, you can right-click on the same location. As a help, the game offers an occasional hint.
There will also be a tutorial at the beginning of the game to help you understand the mechanics. Note that you cannot skip this tutorial. For long-time players, this will be annoying. Although, you will be happy to see the improvements in the visuals. The dollhouse style and approach give the game a richer quality. However, it takes the mysterious aspect that the previous iteration offers.
