I'mOlecramIdand I'm making a visual novel called "The Second Half"
This is my first game so I'm open to all constructive feedback that I can get!
Let's talk about why I'm making this game and what I will try to turn it into.
Two years ago, I discovered the adult visual novel world, and it was love at first sight! I always been a big fan of games, but I never knew this type even existed. Since then I played hundreds of them. Of course, I don’t like them all, but all of them teach me something. Now I know exactly what a game must be to entice me.
Great photo quality? Big fan of it! Beautiful women? Of course!! Good animations? Sure! But most importantly, a story that I want to come back to. And to me that is almost 100 percent about the characters. I want to fall in love with them, or at least one of them. I really like and want that type of connection. This is the kind of game I will try to make, and I want you to fall in love with at least one of my characters!
Now, about the game itself. Like I said before, it will be a story driven game. You will have to make some decisions, important ones, not the silly kind lot of games have. Most of these decisions will be about if you want to pursue some girl or not, and in case you do want to, how you will do it. I don’t want at this point to give much away, but I will just say that the game will have multiple endings according to how you played it.
Why try to make a game now? Easy, last year I lost my job. I have a lot of free time now and I really need a source of income. On one hand, this is my way to give something back for all the wonderful games that I played and I loved, and on the other hand try to make a living.

You are 44 years old. You are an engineer and the owner of a construction company.
During the last 15 years you have made it grow to become one of the largest in the region.

The only problem with that sentence is where would they find a "friend" who knows you well enough to describe you?
You spent most of your life alone. You were never good at bonding with people, much less with women.
The only exception was Milena. God knows how but she met you and for some reason she loved you... at least until 2 years ago.
Your life was never easy, but it cannot be said that it has been difficult.
You have been working from a young age and you made your career quite easily.
You love animals and you are not happy.
But now you decided that its's time to change your life, starting with your insecurities.
No more hiding, no more overthinking, it's time to act, live your life and try to be happy once and for all.
She is 23 years old and a law student. She works for an old friend of yours.
She is very open and up front.
She says what she thinks and she is not afraid to go for what she wants. But at the same time she is very respectful and polite.
She seems very confident but under that exterior hides a girl who until now had no luck with men.
From a very young age she was already very beautiful. She developed early so she always attracted a lot of attention.
Most men see her as a conquest and treat her in the same way.
She is used to being the center of attention and although she enjoys it, she's not looking for it.
Your change of life will first result in crossing paths with this beautiful woman.
She is 24 years old and a nurse.
Very smart and dedicated. At the age of 18 she entered one of the top medical faculties with the third best result among the more than 4000 applicants.
She was always in the top 5 averages and everyone knew she was going to have a bright future.
But everything changed when, at the age of 21, her father suffered a tragic accident.
The months she spent in the hospital with him made her realize that it was not the doctors who helped patients the most, but the nurses.
The doctors came and went, they passed in a hurry and if they did not look at the clinical history they had no idea what was happening.
On the other hand, the nurses were always ready, they ran from one room to the other but they knew every detail of each patient in their care.
In that moment she knew what she wanted to do. Helping other people just like those nurses helped her father.
Even spending most of her time next to her father's bed, in less than 6 months she became a nurse.
So she changed a lucrative career as a doctor to devote herself fully to helping as many people as she could.
Today she works tirelessly as a head nurse in the largest and most renowned hospital in the city.
She's 18 years old and she just finished school. Her best and only friend is Jenny.
She's the sweetest girl you could ever meet, but unfortunately her life isn't easy.
Her mother disappeared two years ago and she was left alone with her father, a violent and angry man.
She's almost a prisoner in her own house. Her father totally controls her life and makes her live in constant fear.
While she never suffered any physical abuse, the constant verbal mistreatment of which she is a victim shaped her personality by turning her into a shy and weak girl.
Since Jenny had to move, Emily has been completely alone and isolated from the world.
It's only a matter of time before the situation in her house escalates even further, and at that point, will Emily have the strength to escape?
Emily and you are going to meet on the worst day of her life... will you be able to help her?
She's 18 years old and Emily's best friend. They have known each other since elementary school and were inseparable. She's the only person who knows Emily's whole story. Eight months ago her mom received an incredible job offer for which they had to move to the other side of the country. Being apart from her best friend was a terrible blow to Jenny, not only because of what it meant not to see her daily but because she knew that she had to leave her alone with her father. She lives worried about Emily and always tries to find a way to get her out of her house. She'd do anything for her friend and she's going to get a chance to prove it.
She's 19 years oldand is touring the country as a backpacker.
She left her house a few months ago and since then she has been traveling non-stop.
She is an intelligent, funny, natural and very effusive girl. She grew up in a rural town, so her manual tasks are not alien to her in the least.
She is the kind of person to excel in any situation, but while she would seem like she has everything going for her, her childhood was not perfect in the least. Rachel is different from most people and she never found it easy to feel accepted.
Beyond that, if you are lucky enough to meet her, you will never regret it. The only thing you have to know is that she has a bigger secret than you could imagine...
