Time Clock MTS is a management tool that allows employers to have an strict control of their employees and make their accounting much easier. The employer will have a master password that will enable him to manage the employees and make all types of changes. Then, when he/she logs off as administrator the employees can clock in and out without him/her. They just have to find their names in the employees list and clock in and out. The program enables employers to add as many employees as they want, including detailed information about them such as name, pin, badge id, shift, departments, hire date, payroll information, contact and tax information, etc. They can even add fingerprints for any employee. The program will also provide reports on the current status, id, active job, and payroll of each employee and they can be printed and exported as csv, txt or excel file. What is more, the whole database can be searched and easily backed up and restored. The program can be completely customized from the options menu and it offers an intuitive and very easy to use user interface.
In short, Time Clock MTS includes everything an employer may need to keep detailed information about employees and keep track of their work hours. The program can be used for free if you have three employees or less.
v5.0 [Jan 31, 2014]
- A fix to the 'reset forgotten password' functionality for users of the free version, those who are in the 30 day trial period, or those who have purchased and are still waiting for their permanent registration codes.
- Complete re-work of the code that selects the last employee time punch. This significantly reduces the number of database accesses during this process and should speed up performance for users with large databases.
- Made a change to the MySQL database creation script to include some new indexes on the time table. These indexes have improved the employee list refresh speed for MySQL users by about 1000% percent.
- Re-factored some code that handles employee time punches to increase performance and reliability.
- Small changes made to the licensing system to account for recent Windows environmental variable changes.
- Fixed up an issue with importing jobs with a job code longer than five digits.
- Fixed for checking time from internet time server when computer had been running a long time (30 days plus).
- Fix to startup process that gets the time from an internet time server. This was broken sometime in the last few months by a Windows update.
