Tipard iPad Converter Suite for Mac combines two apps in a single package. These apps are Tipard iPad Video Converter for Mac and DVD to iPad Converter for Mac. If you were to buy those two programs separately, you would spend $58. Buying this pack instead costs $35, which can save you some hard-earned money. The applications can be used to convert non-supported video files and DVD movies to formats that can be played on your iPad and other iOS devices. Both applications have support for the following video formats: MPEG-4, H.264, MOV, M4V, WebM, AVI and WMV. Most of the formats play great on the iPad. There are conversion profiles for the iPad and also for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The application can also convert your movies and video files to audio formats.
Both apps pack a simple video editor which can trim and crop your videos and adjust some of their properties. You can also add watermarks to videos.
When you run this suite, you will see a launcher that gives you access to both applications. You will only be able to run one at a time, though.
The graphical user interfaces in these two apps are similar. They both include a video player, some on-screen instructions on how to use the programs, and a drop-down menu from where you select the desired conversion format.
There aren't any fancy features included in either of these converters, but they do their job quite well. So, if you were thinking about buying the applications separately, you can go ahead and save some money by buying this suite instead.
