Tipard Mac iPad 2 Transfer for ePub is an iOS backup utility. It can be used to manage your ePub and PDF book files on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. It can both transfer content to and from your device, without the need to sync with iTunes, which is this application's biggest advantage.
When you connect your device and the application detects it, you will see a short summary with information like device type, name, iOS version, serial number, and, most importantly, how much space is used and how much is free.
On the left pane, you will see the names of all the connected devices, and below them two buttons. These take you to the lists of your books in the ePub and PDF formats. The books will be displayed on the right pane and they can be sorted by name, author, and size. There is even a search feature that comes in handy when you have one too many books. To transfer a book to your Mac, all you have to do is check the box next to it and click on the "Export files to PC" button. Additionally, if there is more than one device connected, you can transfer files between devices directly as well. To transfer content to your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, you can simply click on the "Import files" button and navigate to the folder where the files are stored.
