Tipard WMV Video Converter for Mac is a video conversion utility that can be used to convert video files into WMV, WebM and AVI for video; and MP3 and WMA for audio. WMV and AVI are formats that play very well on the Xbox 360 and the Zune. Most Microsoft products will play these formats natively. The application has excellent input format support, and you should be able to open any video or audio file. There are conversion profiles for the 360, Zune, Google Phone, and a few smartphones and PDAs.
This program comes with a basic video editing tool that lets you trim and crop your videos, adjust brightness, contrast and saturation, and even add watermarks to your videos. There is also a video player on the main application window that can play your videos before conversion and take JPEG snapshots.
I tested Tipard WMV Video Converter for Mac by converting a sample 720p MKV file into WMV, also at 720p. The process took 15 seconds to convert 30 seconds of video. The resulting file played great in MPlayerX and looked every bit as good as the source file.
