Developed by Micromax Informatics, Tiranga is a free-to-download Indian app that contains high-qualityIndependence Day-themed wallpapers, most of which feature the Indian flag, also known as the “Tiranga.” The main screen also includes a short animated video related to the #SavetheTiranga initiative.
With paper and plastic Indian flags creating waste, the Tiranga app serves as an environment-friendly alternative for Indians celebrating Independence Day. Using this program, they canchoose an image of an Indian flag, set it as a wallpaper, and express their pride for their country.
Apart from Indian flags, there are also wallpapers with empowering Hindi quotes. Plus, none of the images are locked behind a paywall. Unfortunately, the selections are quite limited. Hence, if you want more wallpapers, you’ll have to download the WallPapers from Micromax app.
With the Tiranga app providing images of Indian flags and Hindi quotes, Indians can celebrate Independence Day or any major Indian holiday waste-free. However, the app’s wallpaper collection is thin, so you’ll have to install WallPapers from Micromax if you want more.
