MPGEnc Authoring Works is excellent software to make your own collection of DVDs, Blu-rays and DivX videos. With this program, I could easily cut unwanted scenes, add special effects, create professional-looking menus, import most video formats, make my own subtitles, and whatever came into my mind. This application is very easy to use, and it is also user-friendly.
MPGEnc Authoring Works 4 supports camcorder video formats, such as AVCHD/HDV/DV. This application will allow you to add various audio filters such as noise reduction, fade-in and out, gap correction, and much more. With the help of this software you can really create high quality DivX Ultra videos. It also supports 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround sound input and output.
I was able to create my very own custom menus and could create interactive menus from templates that are installed in it by default. TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4 helps you to make DVDs and Blue-ray in standard or high definition, as you want it. You can input various audio and video formats, such as Quicktime, MPEG- 1/2, avi, wmv, DivX, etc.
Each project is divided into five different stages which are as follows: Start, Source, Menu, Simulation and Output. If you complete each stage in order you will have a custom DVD or Blu-ray movie ready in a cinch! Through its Simulation feature you can also see how your project will look before burning your DVD or Blu-ray disc, and share them with your friends and family.
It is worth mentioning that the user interface has high-quality design, simplicity and smart appearance. And the program has an all-comprehensive wizard that will make your job easier. I liked this application very much, as it helped me to input various audio and video formats, and it rendered the output file really fast. This application is packed with features for both the novice and the experienced user.
Minimum system requirements are Windows XP SP2 or higher, CD/DVD/BD drive with writing capabilities. Windows Media Player 9 or later. DirectX 9c compliant video card or later. QuickTime Player 7 or later.
