TogMeg is a program that might prove to be of good use to people studying words of foreign languages. This simple-to-handle application enables you to create flashcards containing questions and their correspondent answers, allows you to practice what you've learned, and comes with a built-in text-to-speech engine.
You can sort your lessons into groups, save study sessions as individual files on your local directories, and choose between various voice profiles. The utility also allows you to swap the questions with the answers, enable fullscreen mode if necessary, and cut and paste text content within the flashcards.
Personally, I think this application is missing important features. For example, it lacks an option to choose the language you wish to learn (the pronunciation of the translated words aren't accurate) and it doesn't translate words.
Another aspect I didn't like in my testing was that the utility occasionally crashed for unknown reasons.
With that being said, it's not worth installing this program on your Mac. This utility brings a small amount of features and doesn't work properly. Hence, you should look for other solutions if you wish to learn a new language from your computer.
