TopHat Folders Menu is a Mac application that provides you with quick and easy access to folders within your computer. This program sits in your Menu Bar from where you can launch favorite directories, access recently used folders, and configure its settings according to your requirements.
The utility comes with a menu editor where you can drag and drop your favorite folders and check recently used directories list. All you need to do to exclude an item from your Favorites list is to right-click over the folder and select the Remove option.
I like that you can also add folders within a connected USB drive to the menu of this program. When you eject the drive from your Mac, the directories still show up on the app's menu (nothing happens when you click their icons).
Another good aspect about this Mac utility is the fact that you can choose which folders to ignore when it comes to monitoring recently used directories.
Briefly, TopHat Folders Menu is a simple yet very useful Mac program. You can easily set up its settings and quickly have access to any directory within your computer or connected USB stick. Plus, the app comes with a very reasonable cost.
