Total System Care is a software utility that scans your PC for registry errors, security issues, junk files and other kinds of problems that make it slow, unstable and vulnerable. The program fixes all those problems to restore your system's old speed and performance, leaving it just like new. A restore point is automatically created before the program applies any changes to your system, so that you can easily recover in case anything goes wrong with your PC optimization.

The program features a modern and intuitive user interface that automatically runs a full system scan the first time you launch it. After that, you can select the areas to be analyzed among "System and Performance", "ActiveX and Class Issues", "Junk Files", "Registry Issues" and "Security and Privacy". After the scan you will see a report with the number of detected issues for each area, and you can click on each one to access its full list of errors. If for whatever reason you don't want to repair them all, you can individually select which ones will be fixed and which will be ignored.

As I said before, Total System Care creates a restore point before applying any system optimizations by default, however, you can configure the program to don't do it or to ask you every time. Besides, you can schedule automatic optimizations to be executed once, daily or weekly at the specified day and/or time.

To sum it all up, Total System Care is a practical tool that offers several good ways of optimizing your Windows system, however, there are some functions it lacks like network settings optimization, which is a common feature in other optimization suites. Apart from that, Total System Care offers a trial version that only scans your system and shows the list of detected issues, but doesn't repair anything until you buy the license. Of course, this doesn't allow you to appreciate the real power and effectiveness of the program when it comes to cleaning and optimizing your system.
