In “Treasure Masters” you will be representing the grandson and heir of a famous archaeologist, treasure hunter (from there the game’s name). This famous archeologist has been missing since he crashed his plane over the ocean. It isn’t determined whether his dead or alive yet, and that’s part of the mystery in this game. You have been called in because you are the only inheritor in his will and they need you to decide some things.

Beyond the story, which is pretty interesting by the way, the game is a game which could be categorized into the “seek & find” category. The story gives a frame for the game to develop, that’s all. Once you are playing the game what you have to do is to find certain items in different messy scenes. The game will provide a list and some hints in case you get stuck. What makes this game a bit different from others of the kind is that not always provides a list of specific items to do, but sometimes give you a category in which the items you have to find could be categorized. For example, you could have to find “birds”. Besides this, the game also provides you with an inventory that will keep certain items you collect in the scenes. These items in the inventory will serve for a purpose later on in the game. For example, you could save a set of keys that will open some door for you, later in the game, either in the same level or a couple of levels after.

If at some time you get stuck and can’t find any more items in the scene, you can ask for help. You have a limited amount of hints available per scene. Sometimes you’ll see gold coins mixed up with other stuff. Whenever you see a gold coin you have to pick it up, the more the better.

When you first enter the game, you’ll get to the main menu with the following options on it:

- Change Profile: the first time there’s no existing player. After you create one or more, they’ll be saved. When you enter into this submenu, you’ll be asked for a name as a new player. It’s possible to have a list of different profiles and record their performance. This way, you can play home tournaments with family and friends.

- Play: to start playing the game, after viewing a brief game introduction.

- Settings: this is the menu from which you can set some game options like sound volume, music volume, and full/windowed screen.

- Credits and Exit: no further explanation required.

You can try this game for 60 minutes before you buy the licensed version. If you like it, you can buy this game for only 19.99 dollars, right from the Oberon Media Game Center, on the Web.
