The TU Me app aims to take on popular messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Viber. So, what makes TU Me different from these other chat clients? For starters, its appearance is very clean and tidy, and the app conveniently extracts your contacts from your phone book.
TU Me's handy options menu quickly displays all of the features you have at your disposal. This includes the ability to send text messages, audio, locations, photos or request to make a call.
The big advantage TU Me has over WhatsApp is that, like Viber, it allows you to make free calls to other users of the app over the internet. Generally the call quality is good, although we had problems trying to place a call at first.
TU Me is an interesting messaging and calling application for Android, though it's not quite as polished as WhatsApp.
