Turbo Copy Pro is intended to facilitate copy and paste operations on Mac. In this respect, the application can replace the native Mac feature, which has several limitations. For example, copies involving multiple files are usually very slow. In addition, it is not always possible to pause the transfer. What is more, the way it handles conflicts with duplicate files tends to confuse users.
Turbo Copy Pro has the advantage of integrating perfectly with the system. You can set it to start along startup and continue running from the Menu Bar. It responds perfectly to the paste command and adds the possibility of moving files, which is not normally supported by the system. The interface is very simple, it only shows the progress of the operation and two buttons that allow you to pause or cancel the transference.
In addition to providing a faster copy, this application has other advantages such as displaying warnings regarding lack of disk space. Also, when duplicates are detected, it allows you to mix, replace or skip the operation.
Although the features provided by Turbo Copy Pro are definitely better than those provided by the system, if you compare it with other tools of this type, you can notice that it could still be improved. In this regard, it should allow configuring default actions even before conflicts are detected as well as display a list with the files being transferred.
