The TurboCAD Professional 15.2 is a software program developed with designers of all disciplines in mind to enable them to create 2D drawings by providing them with all the tools they need and to provide them with a 3D authoring and modeling features and tools.
TurboCAD Professional 15.2 features advanced Mechanical Design tools including branch lofting, face-to face lofting and imprint. With lofting guidelines to add 3D splines and polylines users gain more control of their lofting objects. A Design Director is also included for managing cameras, layers, views and lighting. For 2D drawing, tools include Smart, Quick and Baseline for automatic dimension. Dimensions are associative enabling users to edit and make changes to sizes freely since the dimension will change automatically to reflect the changes. A new tool, the Woodworking Layout Tool, allows users to create 2D layouts of 3D models to optimize the cutting and manufacturing of new components.
Copy and editing tools in TurboCAD Professional 15.2 allow quick selection of objects by type, color, and layer. Reusable objects can be dragged and dropped by users into their designs and the Parametric Parts feature can enhance this. Parametric Parts give users the ability to create fully parametric 2D and 3D content and some parts can be used in AutoCAD as well. A new feature in relation to Parametric Parts is it new library pallet for easy management of Parametric Parts and symbols. Another important feature is the Drafting Pallet that can enable user to insert standard views of their models into Paper Space. New features in TurboCAD Professional 15.2 include a library of over 50 eco-friendly objects, over 300 new materials and a new Terrain Tool. There is also a Desktop Customization feature to enable users to add commands to any toolbar, with pop-up toolbars available for them to assign their most used tools to the local menu. Many more new features have been added to this edition of the program including compatibility to even more CAD and graphics programs and formats in addition to the thirty import and export formats the program already supports. - UI. Many icons-buttons are missing in 3D objects fly-out toolbar in Drawing tools toolbar.
- Config. House Wizard toolbar is missing in Customize/Toolbar page for 1024x768pro and 1024x768pro_pre18 configurations.
- Bug with Circle Tan to Entities.
- TC Hangs when using Pick-Point Hatch to hatch circle in attached drawing.
- Insert object and Revision Cloud tools are missing in Default configuration in Deluxe. "Shader description" icon is missing in the Material Editor.
- Markers missing from the Architectural toolbar and menu in the default desktop.
- Angular Ray, Horizontal Ray and Vertical Ray are missing in the Construction toolbar.
- Purge. It is necessary to forbid using Purge tool in Edit Block Content mode. It can lead to Unhandled exception.
- User can not measure diameter round objects on Drafting objects in "50mm_Leist_Die-1_rev1.TCW" file.
- The drawing in Quality render mode is printed as a faded picture with lines running through it in TurboCAD 18.
- Viewports in Quality render mode are printed incorrectly from TurboCAD v18.
- The program is nor responding when user select "Degenerative Faceting" option and Custom Faceter Mode in ACIS settings in the "PNC-50SP_fullscale17.TCW" file.
- DXF/DWG. Incorrect DWG import of Mtext with oblique angle.
- Lightworks help disappears after first use.
- Slab not able to scale brush patterns
- Dimension Leader disappears.
- Some objects are missing in the “V2 Parts.dxf” file when user opens it in TurboCAD.
- Revision Cloud tool missing from Both the Pro and Deluxe default desktops.
- Markers Tools are missing from the Architectural Pulldown Menu in Default Desktop configuration
- Markers Toolbar missing from Toolbars dialog list.
- Objects in the "uvnurbsboth.3ds" file are invisible in Wireframe render mode.
- "Failed to save: : Unknown Error" message appears when trying to save the "20101023_fire_protection_-1.dwg" file in DWG/DXF format.
- Dialog messaging needs to be changed related to CR#8067
- TCW file crashes when saving to DWG/DXF.
- Unhandled exception at TCW export of DWG drawing from ACAD with mesh objects
- Crash TurboCad when switch to Model Space in "Mechanic with drafting.tcw"
- CGM. Unhandled Exception message appears when saving the file with raster Image to CGM format, if the raster Image is located on the large area.
- DWG Double-Line Width not saving properly after edit and close.
