The program is a neat, handy and effective touch typing tutor that helps you precisely evaluate your typing speed and accuracy. It’s a great tool if you consider starting to improve your typing skills as a proper preliminary evaluation is the recommended first step in that direction.
Typer Master comes with a simple and intuitive two-panel interface. The goal is to write as quickly and correctly as possible the text provided in the upper level. Every piece of text used for testing of your speed and accuracy is considered a “lesson”, and these lessons can be edited and managed (add new ones or deleted available ones) to your liking.
The program can store collected statistics about your typing speed and accuracy and display them in the “Results” window, but it can also display them in real-time, as you take a touch typing test.
Though Typer Master is one of the simplest and most straightforward touch typing tools I ever encountered, it’s also one of the most efficient programs. I like its every aspect and the fact that it’s also completely free makes me recommend it with all my heart.
