TyphoonZip 2.0

TyphoonZip 1.0 is a brilliant free program by Typhoon, which has a powerful set of tools for working with archives. After installing this program you can start it by clicking on its tray icon or using the Start menu. There are three main ways to use TyphoonZip 1.0: by using the program’s main dialog window, by right-clicking on any file you like and choosing an action and via the command line. The last one is extremely useful for writing scripts. Program’s main window consists of a toolbar and a list which shows what files are contained in an opened archive. The toolbar doesn’t have a lot of features, but it allows to perform many different operations, like creating new archives, opening existing archives, extracting files from archives, adding files and folders into archives, deleting files from archives. TyphoonZip 1.0 is extremely easy to use. Just select files and drag them onto the main window for adding them into an archive. This software also allows creating self-extracting files which can be unzipped simply by double-clicking, and setting a password for an archive to secure your information.
