UltimateZip is more than just a file compression utility. Besides helping you create ZIP files on your PC, it enables you to extract and encrypt archive files, burn them to a DVD, and much more.
The program comes with a user-friendly interface that looks similar to the Microsoft Office tools. All of the built-in utilities, sharing options, and the integrated help manual can be found on the main toolbar of the application.
You can import the files you wish to compress by using drag-and-drop actions. Select a destination folder and an output format, and the program will take care of the rest in a matter of moments.
Furthermore, UltimateZip allows you to import various types of archive files and immediately extracts their contents, without slowing down the performance of other running applications.
A disadvantage is that, even though it supports a wide range of archive formats for importing, the program lets you create only ZIP, CAB, LHA, TAR, and BH files. Also, you can find cheaper solutions for managing your archive files.
With that being said, I'd say you should look for a different archive file manager for your Windows PC.
