UMark is a great tool for adding watermarks to photos. It offers a wide range of options to customize the watermark, including the ability to add text, images, shapes, and barcodes. The transparency level and shadows can also be adjusted. The preview feature allows you to see the result in real time, and the program supports multiple image formats. Overall, UMark is a great tool for protecting your photos with watermarks.
UMark is intended to stamp watermarks on batches of pictures. The tool has a straightforward interface; which is, unfortunately, rather plain as well. It supports importing not only individual files but also complete folders. Luckily, such popular formats as BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, and TIFF are supported.
Good news is that you can add various types of watermarks, including text, images, shapes and QR code. These objects have modifiable properties, like rotation angle and transparency degree. Likewise, you can use the preset positions or insert an exact custom position. Not only that, the watermarks can also be easily dragged to the desired place. The program also supports adding frames to the pictures.
A very convenient feature of UMark is that it lets you use macros to create automatic text watermarks. Thus, it is possible to print file properties, like EXIF data, name and location, on the corresponding image. It is also great that you can preview all changes in real time. Likewise, it is an absolute advantage to be able to reuse watermarks on other sets of pictures.
All in all, UMark can come in handy when you need to identify bulks of photographs. Therefore, its main asset is undoubtedly its support of batch operations and its incredible speed. The product is available in two versions: Free and Pro.
v6.3 [May 17, 2020]
- Bundled fonts: uMark now includes 120 handpicked fonts that users can use for their watermarks. There are handwriting fonts, signature fonts, calligraphic fonts and more. You can now add beautiful and stylish watermarks to your photos with uMark's bundled fonts.
- Status of include sub directories in Add Folder: uMark now remembers the checked status of the include sub directories option in the Add Folder dialog. So, you won't have to always check it while adding all images from a folder. One less step to perform in your watermarking workflow.
- Remove checked, unchecked and processed images: There are now 3 new options under remove images menu.
- Remove checked images – this removes all the check marked images from the list.
- Remove unchecked images – this removes all the non check marked images from the list.
- Remove processed images – after watermarking, you can use this option to remove the watermarked (processed) images from the list.
- Relative placement of watermark: uMark now includes a new option for position of text and image watermark. You can choose to place a watermark relative to photo size. This option comes in handy when you drag a watermark to put it where you want. Earlier versions of uMark would put the watermark at custom position when you dragged a watermark. That would put the watermark at fixed X and Y points and it would be out of place on images of different size.
