Vdesk is an application that enables users to have up to 8 virtual desktops on one screen. It is quick and easy to switch between virtual desktops and choose which windows appear in each. It also comes with a wallpaper changer that allows you to set different wallpapers for each virtual desktop. The wallpaper changer and virtual desktop manager have a COM API, which allows external applications to access their features and be notified when a desktop change occurs.
