Vector Converter X is a simple application designed to help you convert image files. This way, you have the chance to optimize them for various purposes so they can fit your needs.
The tool opens with a clear cut and straightforward user interface. Without any hidden setting menus or Preferences, it displays all functions on the main window for easy access. in fact, it doesn't come with many features. All you need to do is import the images you wish to convert, select the output format, and enable the conversion. This is all it does. The list of output formats covers most common conversion needs, yet some of the profiles are locked for free use. However, you will have the unpleasant surprise to notice that the conversion process fails after three trials. Therefore, the conversion ends successfully only for the first three attempts. After that, the app is of no use. What makes it even more annoying is that you aren't announced about this limitation by any means. The lack of image preview and compressing features (a Compressor button is displayed, yet it is inactive) complete the list of drawbacks.
All the above-mentioned shortcomings make the free version of this application useless. If things are different after upgrading to the full version, there's a risk you may or you may not take.
