Video Rotator 4.8.2

I recently used Video Rotator to rotate some videos I had taken with my phone and it worked perfectly! It was very easy to use and the output video quality was great. I was able to rotate the videos by 90 degrees clockwise or anticlockwise, or turn them upside down in a single or batch mode. I also liked that I could mirror my movies vertically or horizontally, and save the output as MP4, AVI, MPG, FLV or MOV files. I would definitely recommend Video Rotator to anyone looking for an easy to use and effective video rotation tool.

Sometimes you forget to straighten your camera when taking a shot, this is when an application like Video Rotator comes in handy because it fixes crooked video by rotating the image to various degrees. The tool supports importing fifteen of the most popular video formats. Moreover, it allows processing batches of files, and it can conveniently add all the clips in the selected folder.

Once you have created a list, you can pick a rotation degree, which lets you rotate the image clockwise or counterclockwise, flip it or even mirror it. In my opinion, it is a great inconvenience not being able to preview the results before proceeding to make the changes. Likewise, another big disadvantage is that all clips in your list will be rotated to the same degree. Luckily, Video Rotator can transcode video. However, it is a pity that only six formats are supported and you do not have much control of the output parameters. Just as when rotating, the tool does not allow using individual conversion profiles.

All in all, Video Rotator is not a tool I would recommend. In fact, there are some applications that can do the same and much more at no cost. Rotating video image is a feature that comes with every major media converter, so I do not see the need to spend any money on this. By the way, the product is shareware and its trial version has the limitation of converting only the first 15 seconds of each clip.
