Videora iPad Converter is an MPEG-4 and H.264 video converter. It allows you to convert video files for playback on the Apple iPad and other playback devices that support those formats. Pretty much any modern device will play those formats. Just like Videora video converters for Windows, the Mac versions also use an HTML-based wizard for the conversion process. However, most of the on-screen instructions correspond to the Windows version, so that can be a little confusing. Using the application is easy enough that you don't need the instructions though.
In my testing, I used an MKV file that was roughly a minute long, and 35 megabytes in size. I converted it to H.264 using the best quality settings available and the whole process took a little over three minutes. So an average movie would take over 4 hours.
In terms of quality, the resulting file played well on my computer and iPad and it looked every bit as good as the original file. There were no audio-sync problems or stuttering.
All in all, this video converter works well, it is free and it can produce good quality files. It is not the fastest one around, though.
