Videora iPhone 3G Converter is a free video converter. It allows you to convert your video files into formats that play well on the iPhone 3G. The two supported output formats are H.264 and MPEG-4. The first time you run this application, you will be prompted to select your iDevice's model. There are many devices available, including of course iPod Touch (various models), iPhone 3G, and other models of iPhone.
The application uses an HTML-based wizard to guide you through the conversion process. It provides instructions and even screenshots. However, all the screenshots are for the Windows version, so Mac users might feel a little left-out.
There are two conversion models: Normal and Power. The first mode is for people who don't know much about the process. The Normal mode lets you use sliders to change the settings and the Power mode simply lets you choose from different available conversion profiles.
In my testing, the application performed well. The conversion process was quick and easy and the quality of the resulting file was nice. It played well on iTunes and an iPhone.
