To be completely honest, making a game from scratch has proven challenging, to say the least. While we have nearly two dozen dungeon maps across 3 different planets and 40+ scenes worth of content, we’re currently going through the process of editing and tightening a lot of the previously built content. We want our worlds to have scale, but we also don't want players to get lost in the weeds. We will be looking to tighten up existing content as we move forward.
To that end, we'll be focused on our largest planet. Henosis is the central metropolitan hub of the Voidverse. Initially deployed with just two districts, it's been overhauled with an amalgamation of 53 maps and includes a rich variety of playable content. What started as two districts now total six, each with its own design, flavor, and places for you to visit.
This update features a new story on Henosis. It advances Caly's saga forward in a battle between two opposing forces. Will you look for a peaceful solution or end up backing one of the players? Beyond new quests, the update served as a testing ground for new ideas being evaluated for the future. Ideas like Animations!
We're taking things slow and started incorporating animations in certain sections of VoidBound. Though the process is selective at the moment, eventually we intend to spread the concept extensively and liven up every facet of the game.
Additionally, the heroine has a voice now! Brought to life by the talentedPixieWillow,the voice-over work is still in its infancy, but we're very excited about it. We're working closely with the artist to tailor the audial portfolio to give us the best version of Caly possible.
Please note that the aforementioned concepts are but just a small part of our planned systems. We’re always seeking to expand, refine and dial in our various gameplay systems with each passing update to make VoidBound one of the standout games in the industry.

We’re a small indie studio of creators who’ve worked on other localization NSFW projects in the past but decided to try our hand at making our own game. While VoidBound is our main focus, we’re also open to potential partnerships to help localize other NSFW games as opportunities appear and hope to be able to bring benefits of those situations to our patrons as much as possible.

Born to loving and supportive parents on Mars, Calideya (“Caly”) Noorani was doing what any rational person would do on a workday: Work!
However, her space-station repair job is cut short as a full-scale alien invasion of earth breaks out mid-work, interrupting her space walk. In a flash of light, she’s out of her world and into another.
The last time home was left in the hands of an engineer, we all turned out okay. The player's job is to make sure Caly has as much the same luck. Let’s just hope that talks of post-abduction probing are an exaggeration.
Wait, they aren’t?
:Traits: She’s stubborn, loud, brash, hot-headed, and just wants to get along with people. It’s damn near impossible to get this girl to sit down and quietly take anything without coming away scarred yourself.
She’ll do her best to turn any bad situation around, no matter how limited the resources are. Caly may also be a bit of a clutz, but her engineering work is without compare.
Everyone, and everything, deserves an equal chance. Caly is the embodiment of that moral code.

From somewhere he won’t talk about doing things he REALLY doesn’t like talking about, Haar is an outcast. The big, fluffy man pilots the spaceship Setek with Jens, his even more mysterious AI companion.
He may have a tough exterior, but he’s really glad to have Caly around. Even with Jens, flying alone isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Now... if he could only get the purple-haired hellcat in his life to stop dragging him off to near-death experiences.
He really likes Caly, though, and wants to protect her. He’s started seeing himself as something of a supportive, protective big brother to her as time passes. When Caly’s off-ship, he’s always worrying and is the absolute worst at hiding it. He’s always secretly checking in on her without her knowing, making sure she’s still moving.
Everyone knows he’s a big worrywart, but nobody’s got the gall or lack of self-preservation to try to bring it up to him.

:Kinks: He’s let slip that his ex got him really into trying out ‘exotic’ races. He likes to be in control most of the time, but get his guard down and he might hand over the reigns.

When Vas met Caly, she was the happiest woman in the universe. She had discovered something new! And something Intelligent!
Vas knew Caly would fetch a mighty fine price on auction.
Crass, loud, obnoxious, vulgar, violent, and the best wingman you’ll ever have: Vasalenti has Caly’s back just as long as that back doesn’t leave her sight.
She may be Caly’s friend and savior, but that doesn’t mean Caly isn’t a one-way ticket to payday and a good time.
Speaking of Caly, Vas hasn’t had so much fun torturing someone in years. Caly is perfect in every way for her. She can have her, protect her, play with her, give her year worth of undiagnosed mental trauma requiring half a decade of therapy…
Vas is a colorful character and Caly is very, very, very grateful that she’s on her side.

Haar’s odd AI assistant.
He’s brilliant, to a truly terrifying degree, it seems. Problem is, he’s also a bit… busted. .. Maybe.
He doesn’t talk about his protocols or work all that much, friendly as the AI is to everyone around him. Maybe he himself doesn’t know? Saying “who knows” would be redundant at this point.
He tries to do jokes, sarcasm, and other ‘human’ mannerisms fairly often in conversation. Problem is, he fails horribly at it and just leaves everyone feeling worse without realizing it. There was the time he tried to help but only ended up broadcasting a rather embarrassing moment.
He means well, honest.
Artificial Life is alive and well within Jens, but there are still some bugs that need working out. Unless they aren’t bugs, which would be concerning. We can’t discount the possibility. Jens is a mysterious one.
Why does an AI engineer bot talk to himself when he thinks he’s alone?
Acting as the engineer for the Setek and proudly flaunting it in Caly’s face, Jens is always there to act as a guide, helping hand, encyclopedia, and more to the crew of Haar’s trusty ship.

Future Plans:
In the coming updates, Caly must travel to the mysterious Jaee- a planet affected by strange and perilous phenomena. Our hero will dive head-first into the breach in the hope that there is still time for her to save the Earth. Of course, while Caly digs around in the bones of an ancient civilization, the claws of the Urtu Empire draw ever closer to her.
