Weather Vane is a lightweight Mac application that allows you to view your local weather forecast directly on your Menu Bar. This simple tool can prove to be quite useful in multiple situations. For example, with the help of this piece of software you can easily retrieve the weather conditions for the next few days in case you are planning a trip.
Weather Vane automatically retrieves weather data from multiple sources based on the provided location and you can easily modify the refresh time in which the data is fetched (from 30 minutes and up to six hours) in a very simple manner. Furthermore, this application provides you with detailed information about the current weather conditions by hovering your mouse cursor over the temperature icon from the Menu Bar.
Other than that, Weather Vane offers you the possibility to show the temperature either in Celsius or Fahrenheit, use the metric measurement system or even add the application to your Login items with just a few clicks of a mouse.
